Come on now, you know it's true. We all love anything that's shiny and new. We're not bench sitters. Most of us just can't stand not to be in on the Latest thing. And this week it's going to be just like ripping the wrapping paper off at Christmas. The shiniest thing in town is the ROCKY MOUNTAIN ANTIQUES FESTIVAL, Saturday & Sunday at the South Towne Expo Center. And I have those waiting for Santa butterflies.
This time Santa is Gail Kinney, owner of Heritage Event Company, who promotes antiques and vintage shows in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, Kansas & Colorado. I must be on the nice list, because a new antiques show is just what I wanted in my stocking. The hall will be filled with some of the best antiques and vintage dealers from around the country, and will feature many of Utah's most popular antiques sellers. I won't be able to sleep all week.
Miss this one, and you might end up on the naughty list. South Towne has tons of free parking, and here's a 2 for 1 pass to get you in for next to nothing. It's collecting Nirvana.
